Design organisations are now getting involved – RGD (Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario), GDC (Society of Graphic Designers of Canada), AIGA (the professional association for design), and Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations).

    I support this position. As a fine artist working in the interior design industry (mostly hospitality) I am often asked to create paintings on spec. My response is “I don’t work for free.” I will be adding the No!Spec logo to my website, and also to my blog at artgirls.blogspot.com.
