Nate sums the podcast up best with the Student Tip of the Week: “Do not give away your education for free. Do not give away that which you should value most, at a cost of nothing. When you do spec work, when you do jobs for free just to get something in your book, you are assigning a dollar value of zero to yourself and your work. … If you’re not assigning value to yourself, no one else is ever going to.”
